Despite being announced last year, Tarsier Studios had very few updates on Little Nightmares 2. Thankfully, that’s changed with a new gameplay trailer debuting at Gamescom Opening Night Live. More importantly, a release date was announced – February 11th. 2021 for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch, and later next year for Xbox Series X and PS5.

The trailer itself is noteworthy for the sheer amount of narrative it has. Players will venture into TVs that connect to other areas, encounter enormous lanky individuals that seek to capture them and much more. Six returns, traveling with a new character named Mono to learn more about the Signal Tower.

Along with new enemies and mysterious characters like the Viewers and the Teacher, players will travel to new locations like the School, the Hospital and the Black Tower. The nightmarish aesthetic has been seemingly amplified since the last game and we can’t wait to see how it pans out. For more details on Little Nightmares, check out our review for it here.
