Game Freak’s upcoming RPG Little Town Hero has received a new short trailer. At 30 seconds, it offers a brief view of the monsters you’ll battle and the abilities available in combat. Check it out below – another video will release on September 27th, hopefully containing more details and gameplay.

Little Town Hero takes place in a small village whose denizens are not allowed to leave. Our hero is different – he wants to explore the world and coincidentally, a “Monster” shows up to attack the village. Using a strange Red Stone and help from the townsfolk, our hero will need to fight back against overwhelming forces.

With music by Toby Fox of Undertale fame, Little Town Hero is already looking like a solid RPG for the Switch. It’s out on October 16th via the Nintendo eShop and will retail for $24.99. Stay tuned for more details and in the meantime, check out the last gameplay trailer here.
