LittleBigPlanet 3 Announced for PS4, Out in November 2014

SWERVE.

Media Molecule successfully swerved us all prior to E3 by announcing that it wouldn’t be present at Sony’s media briefing but lo and behold, LittleBigPlanet 3 was announced for the PlayStation 4. We got a look at the new visuals of the game, the platforming mechanics and some of the new characters this time around. Check out the game above.

If that weren’t enough, LBP and LBP 2 users will be able to import their maps into LittleBigPlanet3 and play the same with improved visuals on the PlayStation 4. That means millions and millions of levels available for play from launch itself. We didn’t get a chance to see the creation tools in action but there’s plenty of time to show that off in the coming months.

LittleBigPlanet 3 will be out in November 2014 for the PlayStation 4. Are you looking forward to the game? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below as we continue to update you on events from E3.

Update: Added Screenshots.
