LittleBigPlanet Karting Story Trailer Begins the Quest to Save Craftworld

(Cue Sackboy with arms open, yelling "Come at me, bro!")

You know what most modern kart-racing games are missing these days? An epic story. Diddy Kong Racing answered the call by featuring an awesome threat to be combated all the way into space. Thankfully, Media Molecule recognized the potential behind this and have added a story to LittleBigPlanet Karting, as Sackboy ventures forth to save the residents of Craftworld from a menacing foe, as showcased in the new trailer released by Media Molecule.

Interestingly, Media Molecule is working with ModNation Racers developer United Front Games (behind the recent blockbuster Sleeping Dogs). So you can bet that the focus will still be on user-generated content but within the context of a kart-racing game. But those seeking a competitive Mario Kart experience need not worry: There are plenty of heat-seeking missiles, grenades, EMPs and other weapons of destruction awaiting those looking for a fight.

LittleBigPlanet Karting releases on PS3 this November 6th for North America and November 7th for EU.
