Lords of the Fallen has continued to look increasingly promising in all that has been showcased of it so far, and Hexworks and CI Games have offered another meaty look at the Soulslike action RPG, courtesy of a gameplay video uploaded by IGN that shows off the game’s opening 13 minutes.

Plenty of Lords of the Fallen’s most intriguing mechanics are on display in the footage, in particular the headlining dual-realm mechanic that will see players travelling back and forth between the realms of Axiom and Umbral, the latter being a much more terrifying counterpart of the former, and both being able to affect the other.

Of course, we also get to see plenty of applications for the Umbral Lamp, while the video also showcases a fair bit of combat, also offering glimpses at mechanics like Soulflaying, Withered Damage, and more. Check out the video below for more.

Lords of the Fallen launches on October 13 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. On consoles, it will run at either 1440p/30 FPS or 1080p/60 FPS. You can check out its PC requirements through here.
