Despite numerous delays in its nearly ten-year development period, Ultizero Games’ Lost Soul Aside is currently locked for August 29th on PS5 and PC. Various new previews have gone live, showcasing new details, including Kaser’s powered-up form. Check out A9VG’s gameplay below.

Some of the more notable revelations about the hack-and-slash action RPG are that it isn’t an open-world title but instead offers a linear experience. Levels have branching paths and platforming elements, but they’re seemingly quite simple, keeping the focus on combat and battling bosses. Interestingly, there are four weapon types: One-handed sword, greatsword, gunblade and scythe.

Each offers different movesets, and you can obtain accessories from Elite enemies and bosses to improve their performance and stats. Kaser also has a skill tree for upgrading and unlocking abilities. If that wasn’t enough, you can look forward to an arena and unique boss challenges for upgrade materials.
