We’ve been hearing about Lost Soul Aside for years at this point, and though the Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry-inspired action RPG has looked promising in each of its showings, the long stretches of silence that have characterized recent years have certainly not gone unnoticed. And while developer UltiZero Games still hasn’t received a substantial new update, its developer has resurfaced and provided assurances that more details will arrive… at some point.
UltiZero Games founder and Lost Soul Aside producer Yang Bing – who started the project as its sole developer – recently shared a message with players via the official PlayStation China Hero Project Twitter page. “We will share more about this work-in-progress title later,” Bing said.
That’s far from a meaty update, and it still doesn’t tell us exactly when we’ll be seeing the game next, much less what it’s release date will be, but at least we know the project is still very much alive and in the works- which is something, at the very least.
Lost Soul Aside is in development for PS5 and PC.
