Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon (also known as Luigi’s Mansion 2) continues Luigi’s quest to rid the world of troublesome ghosts all while running like a little girl away from them because really, heroism is over-rated.

As the sequel, Dark Moon will give players three haunted mansions to explore and will make use of the Nintendo 3DS’s gyroscope and accelerometer for many of Luigi’s commands. Did we mention multiplayer support?

Nintendo has released a ton of new screenshots to show us what we can expect from the gameplay – one wonders if this takes all the surprise out of it. Regardless, check it all out below.

Shigeru Miyamoto himself will be overseeing production on the game, and it will be more puzzle-oriented than the original. As of now, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is set to release for the Nintendo 3DS on March 24th in North America and some time in the same month for Europe.
