Avalanche Studios took the world by storm by announcing Mad Max, based on the popular post-apocalyptic film franchise, for current and next generation consoles To set up the game’s story, a new motion comic from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment has been released which looks at how the mechanic Chumbucket meets Max himself.

Mad Max Motion Comic Part 1 was released earlier and featured the talents of Tom Taylor, who also wrote Injustice and Jason Shawn Alexander (Legends of the Dark Knight). The duo return with part 2 as the bandits of the Wasteland take on Max in combat.

Max Max the video game will be an open-world title but focused on vehicular combat. Since the Wasteland favours those with wheels, it stands to reason that your car is your lifeblood. You’ll be able to outfit it with weapons and take the fight to the bandits in 2014 when the game releases for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.
