Mad Max Trailer Showcases First Ever Gameplay

The Wasteland is a harsh but adventurous place.

Avalanche Software’s Mad Mad received some new screenshots a few days ago and today, the first ever gameplay footage was revealed. Check it out above.

The footage showcases how you start out in the game, from having your car stolen and claiming the Magnum Opus as your new vehicle while setting out to take revenge in the Wasteland.

This world is a lot different from many other open world settings though – ammunition is scarce so you’ll need to rely on your fisticuffs to survive. Materials have to be scrounged, your car will require upgrades, war lords must be fought and allies will be met in your quest.

Overall, Avalanche seems to have established the direction it’s going for with Mad Max and it looks like tons of fun. Mad Mad will be out on September 1st for the Xbox One, PC and PS4 in North America while Europe receives it on November 4th.
