Avalanche Software’s Mad Max has received a new trailer which gives context to the brutal journey that titular character Mad Max undergoes to recover his vehicle after being ambushed and having it stolen. Check it out above.

The world of Mad Max is fraught with danger with gangs roving in vehicles and pretty much ripping apart everything they lay eyes on. Mad Max will have to commandeer a new vehicle called the Magnum Opus in this mess to recover his original car. Along the way, you’ll recover parts to build upon the Magnum Opus and make it much more dangerous than before. Max will also need to gather resources like food and water to stay alive while foraging for gasoline for his vehicle.

Mad Max is currently set to release on September 1st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. PS3 and Xbox 360 versions were originally planned but ultimately cancelled due to the aging hardware. What are your thoughts on the new trailer? Let us know below.
