Hangar 13’s Mafia 3 is looking better with each passing day, offering a throwback to a 1968-style culture of mob violence set in New Bordeaux. A new live-action trailer showcases not just the violence that protagonist Lincoln Clay doles out to those who crossed his friends but also highlights how it’s affecting the man. Check it out below.

One interesting note is how Clay’s reputation begins to grow, attracting attention even from outside the so-called “Bourbon City”. What could that mean and how will it affect your quest for vengeance? That remains to be seen.

Mafia 3 isn’t all about killing mobsters though. Clay will also be working to build up his own criminal empire and taking over New Bordeaux in the process. What are you looking forward to doing the most in this new open world criminal playground? Let us know in the comments.

Mafia 3 will be releasing on October 7th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
