2K Games has released the new story trailer for Hangar 13’s Mafia 3 along with its release date for October 7th. Check it out below.
The story of Mafia 3 is set in New Orleans, 1968 with Lincoln Clay having returned from the war and seeking revenge against the mob that murdered his friends. He’ll have three allies to help him – Cassandra, Burke and Vito Scaletta (who should be familiar to players of Mafia 2). Of course, along with taking down the mob, you’ll be building up your own crime empire in the process.
Mafia 3 is currently set for release in October on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. With Take Two Interactive not having any new Grand Theft Auto announcements, it’s likely that Mafia 3 will be the new de facto single-player open world campaign for the time being.
