A number of different previews for Mafia: Definitive Edition went live today but developer Hangar 13 had their own 17 minute long video to share. It features president and CCO Haden Blackman talking about development once again with footage of missions, exploration and world design playing throughout. Check it out below.
Mafia: Definitive Edition serves as a ground-up remake of the original game, utilizing a new engine with new lighting and improved textures, additional gameplay elements and more story elements. The orchestral score has been updated while voice acting has been re-recorded. There are even brand new cutscenes to ogle, new vehicles like motorcycles to drive and even a Classic Difficulty mode.
Mafia: Definitive Edition is currently set to release on September 25th for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia. Despite the abundance of preview footage, a new narrative trailer is set to debut tomorrow at Gamescom Opening Night Live. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
