Man of Medan is coming soon, and the experimental narrative-based game is looking like it could be something pretty special. We know the game is based around having a lot of choices and alternate playthroughs, and today we got to see that in practice with an extended demo playthrough that showed the same situation play out in two very different ways.

Cram-Gaming got their hands on a special demo that showed off an early part of the game right before the story gets into the real spooky stuff. They play through it twice, making different choices each time, with some pretty radically different outcomes, including the fate of one character and how the reaction to getting to the titular ship plays out. Check it out below.

Man of Medan will launch on August 30th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For even more replay value, you can pre-order to get the Curator’s Cut that lets you play through scenes from an alternate view.
