Marathon

Bungie’s Marathon is getting a closed technical test from October 22nd to October 28th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It will feature three maps and five Playable Runners alongside “re-tuned” combat pacing, proximity chat and solo queue.

Those interested can sign up now until October 16th for all platforms (with applications opening on October 13th, 10 AM PT exclusively for Steam). PC players will require an Intel Core i5-6600, 8 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti to play the game.

However, only those from North America and Europe will be allowed to participate, and the test, alongside all details, is under NDA. As always, it’s worth noting that this is a work-in-progress and offers a “portion” of content planned for the game. Check out the FAQ for more details.

Marathon doesn’t have a release date after Bungie delayed it past September to address feedback and a controversy regarding assets stolen from an independent artist. A new release date will be revealed sometime this Fall, so stay tuned.
