Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Gets New Off Screen Gameplay Footage

You're a superstar, no one else could take me this far...

Definitely the most unexpected (and somehow, in spite of its bizarre premise, one of the most exciting) upcoming games of this year is Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, the crossover between the Mario and Rabbids franchise developed by Ubisoft, which is a whimsical (and rather surprising) Mario flavored take on XCOM.

The game has won vast critical acclaim, and a lot of hype and anticipation, since its debut at E3 last month- this new gameplay footage for it, which you can see for yourself below, from the Japan Expo (and sadly, off-screen) should only serve to fuel that excitement for the title a bit more.

You can check out the video for yourself below- what do you think of this title? Are you going to be picking it up? Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle launches exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on August 29. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on the game.
