Ubisoft has announced that Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is getting a free demo today. Nintendo Switch owners can download it from the eShop, play through the prologue and experience some of Beacon Beach, the first planet. Check out the demo’s release trailer below.
The two-hour-long demo provides plenty of exploration opportunities, secrets and combat against Darkmess-corrupted enemies. While it’s still a tactical turn-based RPG like Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Sparks of Hope doesn’t have grid-based movement. As such, players can slide into foes for damage, hop on allies to cross distances, and much more.

Its second, untitled DLC is out in mid-2023 and adds a new planet and enemy. The third DLC launches in late 2023 and sees legendary platforming hero Rayman teaming with Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Peach on a standalone adventure.
