Mario Strikers: Battle League Demo is Now Available on Nintendo eShop

The "First Kick" demo includes the tutorial and online matches. Six time slots are available from June 3rd to 5th for playing online.

Next Level Games’ Mario Strikers: Battle League is out in the coming weeks but before that, Nintendo Switch players can try out the “First Kick” demo now. It’s live on the Nintendo eShop and contains the tutorial along with access to online multiplayer. The opening cutscene for the game has also been released – check it out below.

Of course, there’s a catch to playing online. You need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription (which has a free seven day trial for new members) and it’s only available at specific dates and times. Check them out below:

June 3rd

  • 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM PT

June 4th

  • 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM PT
  • 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM PT
  • 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM PT

June 5th

  • 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM PT
  • 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM PT

The Versus Everyone and Join Friends modes will be playable during these times. The demo seems to be time-limited so play it now while you can. As for the full game, it launches on June 10th.
