Mario Tennis Aces

While Nintendo will be holding an online beta in the guise of a tournament for Mario Tennis: Aces ahead of its launch next month, they will also be releasing a more traditional demo. Starting next Thursday, on May 24, a Mario Tennis Aces demo will be available to download off the eShop- this same client will also be used to participate in the online beta when that goes live at the beginning of next week, so you won’t have to download multiple clients and clutter your system storage and home screen.

Given how disappointing the last few Mario Tennis games have been, it’s good Nintendo is doing this- while Aces has looked great in all of its showings so far, for players burned by the last couple of games in the franchise, the best way to win them over is to let them go hands on with it for themselves and see the improvements that will get them back on board.

Mario Tennis: Aces is set to launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. It will be available on June 21.
