Marvel Games Teasing Something With A “4”

Maybe it’s Marvel Ultimate Alliance 4 coming to everything but the Nintendo Switch.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

Marvel has been on a bit of a roll on then games front lately. Last year, they launched Spider-Man on PS4 to great critical and commercial success, while they have already announced Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 for Nintendo Switch for this year. Plus, we know they are working with Square Enix on an Avengers game.

But they may be teasing something else too. The official Marvel Games Twitter account has changed its profile image to… something with a “4” in it. It’s not subtle either, the “4” is very conspicuous, which to me seems like it is meant to be a deliberate tease.

A deliberate tease for what? Marvel vs Capcom 4 (I assume they will try to pretend Marvel vs Capcom Infinite never happened and try to retcon it from history)? An Avengers 4 game? A Fantastic 4 game? Something else entirely? We don’t know, but we can at least hope that whatever it is will be revealed soon, so our torment can end.
