At this year’s PAX East, Gazillion Entertainment announced that their free to play MMO based on the Marvel universe, namely Marvel Heroes, will be launching worldwide on June 4th. Those who have already purchased Founders packs for the game will receive early access a week prior i.e. on May 28th.
President and Chief Operating Officer, Gazillion Entertainment David Brevik stated “When we started working on Marvel Heroes we knew exactly what we wanted to make – an unrivaled multiplayer free-to-play action-RPG experience that allowed gamers and comic fans to play as their favorite Super Heroes.
“This is an incredibly exciting day for all of us at Gazillion and we can’t wait to let gamers experience the Marvel Heroes world and our fresh take on the massively multiplayer online genre.”
Interested gamers can check out the Founders Program here, and learn more about characters and costumes they can access in advance, which includes packs for obtaining all the superheroes and a fair amount of credits for in-game usage.
