Marvel Heroes is an upcoming free to play action adventure title from Gazillion Entertainment, where you control famous heroes like Spider Man, the Avengers and Miss Marvel from an isometric perspective. Today, the developers its second Developer Diary and reveals some new details about the story which has been handled by none other than Marvel’s very own Brian Michael Bendis. Bendis was responsible for some of the company’s most memorable story arcs including Civil War and some of it’s most infamous ones, like Secret Invasion.

Here, Bendis reveals players must stop Doctor Doom from using the power of the Cosmic Cube to destroy the world. Not good enough? Well, the story is told with over 100 minutes of stop-motion comics, all designed exclusively for Marvel Heroes.

Also make sure to watch for a little appearance by Gazillion Entertainment’s David Brevik, who, you know, only created Diablo and Diablo II. Just your average guy.
