It’s been a minute since we got to participate in the Battle of New York against Loki back in April this year, and time has flown since then, as Marvel Rivals has brought its Path to Doomsday to another important narrative milestone.
Thanos has the Infinity Gauntlet, and the Avengers must stop him in a battle for the universe’s fate. It’s probably a good idea that NetEase aimed to cut down on the battlefield’s chaos a while ago, since this is a fight that can get quite chaotic with up to fifty heroes joining Iron Man’s heroic effort to thwart the Titan and ensure that he doesn’t get the last snap. There are also some interactive activities in Times Square to check out, apparently, so that’s another thing to look forward to.
We’re definitely eager to see how the game recreates the scale and spectacle of one of the MCU’s finest battles from Avengers: Endgame, but we’re quite confident NetEase will make it as exciting as it can be. The trailer’s a welcome tribute to a cinematic score that has always given us goosebumps, while the gameplay in it has us waiting quite eagerly for the event’s October 24th release.
