Marvel vs Capcom Infinite

Two more fighters are joining the inter-company roster that makes up Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite. Capcom has confirmed that Dormammu, Marvel’s powerful being last remember for his bargaining with Doctor Strange in the live-action film, and Firebrand the Red Blaze from Gargoyle’s Quest will be in the crossover fighting game.

Dormammu was last seen in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 while Firebrand last starred in the Ghosts ‘n Goblins spin-off Gargoyle’s Quest 2 released in 1992 for the NES. Both characters are well seated in their respective universes though Firebrand is clearly more obscure. Gameplay footage of both characters will be featured at Gamescom on August 22nd.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite will be releasing on September 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Thus far, we know that characters like Chun-Li (Street Fighter), Chris Redfield (Resident Evil) and Captain America will be returning. Newer additions to the roster include Mega Man X, Gamora, Ultron, Black Panther, Sigma and Jedah Dohma.
