Near the end of October, we’ll be jetting off into space with Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. The game from Square Enix and Eidos Montreal will adapt the popular space crew, as well as some of its quirky supporting cast, in a RPG adventure. We’ve seen a decent amount of the game thus far, even getting a very early launch trailer to boot, but it seems we aren’t quite done yet. Today we got a pair of videos that show off combat as well as a boss battle.

From IGN, we got a break down of how the combat works. As you probably know by now, you only control Star-Lord directly, but you do use your other teammates and their abilities throughout combat. You do this to fill up various meters for special abilities. It can get pretty hectic based on the video below, making you get into a certain flow. There is also a boss battle here with Dweller-In-Darkness, which will show you how combat can go against a single big enemy as opposed to a group. You can see both video in full, again courtesy of IGN, below.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will launch on October 26th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch (via cloud streaming) and PC.
