Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy PS5 Download Size is Reportedly Over 41 GB

Given the fact that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is promising a story-driven single player action-adventure game, there’s certainly more excitement surrounding the game than you’d expect from something Marvel-related coming from Square Enix in a post-Avengers world. With the game’s launch less than two months away now, other details have begun emerging as well.

For instance, over on Twitter, @PlayStationSize reports that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will have a download size of 41.243 GB on the PS5. This, apparently, will be without the game’s day one patch (which is almost guaranteed to happen, as it is with pretty much every game made these days) so you will probably end up having to download more than that. Meanwhile, it also looks like pre-loading for the game will begin on October 24, a couple of days before launch.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, Stadia, and as a cloud-exclusive release for the Nintendo Switch on October 26.
