People have been hoping for a proper full-fledged Iron Man game for a while, and with Camouflaj’s upcoming Marvel’s Iron Man VR, the hope is that that’s exactly what we’ll get. What’s most exciting about the game, however, is that – as its name says – it’s a VR exclusive title, which puts a whole new spin on the entire experience.

In a new behind the scenes video, the game’s development team at Camouflaj talks about why they chose to make the game only playable in virtual reality. Their goal was to completely immerse players in an authentic Iron Man experience, where you get to experience flight and combat through the superhero’s own perspective. The developers also talk about the game’s story and its usage of iconic Marvel characters in the video, and how that, too, plays into the VR experience. Take a look below.

A free demo of the game is available right now on the PlayStation Store, while Sony recently also announced a PSVR bundle for the game. Read all about that through hereMarvel’s Iron Man VR is out for the PS4 on July 3.
