Sony has announced a new release date for Marvel’s Iron Man VR, developed by Camouflaj exclusively for PlayStation VR. It’s now coming on July 3rd. Not much information was provided beyond this but the official PlayStation Twitter says that more news will be available in “the coming weeks.”

Along with The Last of Us Part 2, Marvel’s Iron Man VR was delayed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. With the former receiving a new release date of June 19th, we no longer have to wonder about Camouflaj’s upcoming action title. The real question now is when pre-orders will become available again on the PlayStation Store.

A demo also appeared briefly on PSN so it remains to be seen whether this will go live in the weeks leading up to launch. Once again, stay tuned for more details. You can also check out the story trailer here to get a better idea of Tony Stark’s latest adventure. It’s also worth looking at this developer diary to see how the development team managed to translate the feeling of flight into VR.
