BEST TIPS AND TRICKS

Use Your Environment

In this game, making  use of the environment can help you deal with enemies in an easier way. You will be able to use various objects in the environment to deal some massive damage, so watch out for those button prompts and make sure you use what;s around you.

Swing Away When Needed

One of the great things about playing as Spidey is that you can just swing away to safety when things get too intense. This allows you to calm down a bit, and also gives you a chance to try out a new strategy to take out the enemies you are facing.

Different Strategies For Different Enemies

There are a number of different  enemy types you will come  across in the game, and they  will all have to be dealt with in different ways. Heavy enemies,  for example, will first have to be tied up with your webs before you can deal damage to them. On the other hand, the average thug can be disposed of without any difficulty at all. make sure you understand the different enemy types before you jump into combat.

Be Stealthy

Stealth is an important aspect of the game, and the key is to always stay above the enemies so that they don’t  see you. You can take down enemies when directly above them, but be careful and make sure that there aren’t other enemies nearby. If there are, you can easily distract them by shooting your  web at objects.

Improve Your Skill Trees

There are three skill trees in the game and each of them will improve different aspects of your abilities. Make sure you pay attention to these and experiment with the different skill tress until you get abilities that suit your playstyle.

Dodging Is Important

Dodging is an integral part of emerging the victor from  combat. If you time your dodge just right, you will also be able to fill your focus bar faster. Always be ready to dodges as this is one of your main tools for survival in the game.

HOW TO DEFEAT ALL STORY BOSSES

There are a number of Bosses you will be going up against as Spidey and they all kind of follow a similar pattern. Defeating these Bosses is all about being patient and waiting for an opening so that you can deal damage to them. You can find below a list of all the Bosses along with information regarding how to defeat them.

Shocker

This is the second boss you will fight in the game. At first, just focus on dodging his attacks and when you find an opening, go to him and deal as much damage as you can. After a while, Shocker will also start sending out Shockwaves and when  he sends one out, get behind him and throw and object at him to make him vulnerable to your attacks.

Next, you will find Shocker trapped under a chandelier and when you get the chance, draw the chandelier until  finally it is destroyed and ends up falling on Shocker. You can check out  the video below to see exactly how the defeat this boss.

Electro and Vulture

For this fourth boss fight, you will have to go up against both Electro and Vulture. In the first part of the fight, just focus on shooting  webs at Electro  while also dodging his attacks. After a while, you will be able to get in close and attack him. Next ,Vulture will join in and you will have to dodge his  attacks and shoot at him until you can get in some attacks.

After a while, Electro will return and you will have to take on both bosses at once, so keep dodging and also watch out for any environmental objects you can use to gain an advantage. You can check out the video to see how exactly you can win this fight.

Li

By now, you know the drill. Just dodge Li’s attacks and then when you get the chance, get close and throw out those combos to deal some  decent damage. He will throw out some fast attacks, so make sure you dodge in time and when he gets tired, you will be able to attack him until he recovers. There are multiple battles against Li, but you basically just have to stick to the same strategy to win the fight. You can check out the video below to see how exactly you can defeat this boss.

Kingpin

Kingpin is the first boss you will have to go up against and it’s pretty simple. In the beginning, just bring down the towers that you see. When fighting him, just keep shooting webs at him and then attack him when he is stunned. After a while, he will bring in some support so deal with his minions first before you go back to focusing on him. The video below will show you how exactly to defeat Kingpin.

The Final Boss

For the last boss fight in  the game, you  will go up against Dr. Octopus, and the pattern is pretty much the same. Just keep dodging, and then also keep shooting webs at him when possible. Make sure you use the environment around  you to aid you in this fight.  Once he is stunned, get close and attack him until he recovers. You can check out the video to see how to get through this entire fight.

Scorpion and Rhino

This is another boss fight where you will have to handle two bosses at once. To deal with Rhino, wait for him to charge  and then dodge out of the way. His guard will be left open for a while, allowing  you to get some hits in. Make sure you use the objects around you to deal damage to him. Once Scorpion joins in, you will have  to focus on evading his projectiles as well. To take care of Scorpion, just shoot webs at him and when he is stunned, attack him. The video below will show you exactly how you can defeat these bosses.

HOW TO UNLOCK NEW SKILLS ACROSS THE THREE TREES

There are a lot of cool skills and abilities that Spidey can learn during the course of this game. To be able to do so, you will first have to earn XP which will then lead to you gaining a skill point. You can use these to unlock new skills. There are three different skill trees and these are Webslinger, Innovator, and Defender. It would be best to invest some skill points in each of the tress according to your needs.

Once you’ve found some skill that you want to unlock, just select the skill and hold down X to unlock the skill. The description of the skill will provide the information regarding how exactly this skill can be used.

HOW TO UNLOCK TOMBSTONE OPTIONAL BOSS FIGHT

This is one of the two optional boss fights in the game and to engage in this fight, you will first have to complete some side quests. The first of these quests is called ‘One the Move’ and it can be found in the Greenwich region. Once you finish this quests, you will be able to do the follow-up quests as well which are ‘What he’s building in there’ and ‘Let’s get ready to.’

After finishing the side quests, you will finally be able to go up against Tombstone.  Tombstone hits really hard, so focus on dodging and also shoot webs to stun him and then go in for some attacks. When he brings out some thugs, deal with them first before going back to the boss. Just make sure you use the environment  to your surroundings, and you’ll be able  to defeat him. The video below will show you how to get through this entire boss fight.

HOW TO FIND SCREWBALL

In the screwball side mission, you basically go from location to location to capture different QR codes with your camera. Some of these can be tricky, so make sure you pay attention to the tips. During the mission, you will also have to fight some thugs and get rid of bombs. To see exactly how to get through this side quest, check out the video below which will show you exactly how it’s done.

HOW TO UNLOCK TASKMASTER OPTIONAL BOSS FIGHT

This is another one of the optional boss fights in the  game. To get to the fight, you will first have to complete 16 Taskmaster challenges throughout the game’s world. Just unlock the tower in a region and do the challenge there. Once you complete your  first Taskmaster challenge, you will be able to see all of the others on your world map. As long as you pass these challenges, you will be able to get to the fight against the Taskmaster himself.

This boss can be quite fast, so you’ll have to be ready at all times to dodge out of harm’s way. Use objects around you to deal some extra damage, and get close when possible to unleash some combos. The video below will show you how exactly you can defeat this boss.
