This year will be quite the year for fans of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Not only will we get a standalone expansion focused around the popular Miles Morales character for both PS5 and PS4, there is also a remaster of the first game, Marvel’s Spider-Man. But the news of the latter has been muddy by the fact that there will be no upgrade option for PS4 owners of the original title, and no standalone release. But you will get to see the game before November at the very least.

As of now, the only known way to get the remaster of 2018’s Spider-Man is to buy the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales that includes it. Since there is, as of now, no upgrade option or standalone release, those who bought the game are probably wondering if this remaster will ultimately be worth the time and new price tag. Well, you won’t be left in suspense, as developer Insomniac Games took to their official Twitter to answer if we would get a glimpse of the remaster with a simple “yes.”

Marvel’s Spider-Man PS5 remaster will release alongside Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales on November 12th. The original game is, of course, available now on PS4.
