Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered

It recently emerged that Insomniac Games have been working on the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for about a year, and one look at the upgrade makes it clear that clearly a lot of work has gone into it. Insomniac recently showed off the remaster in action, showcasing impressive improvements, and shortly afterward, YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits uploaded a video doing a side-by-side comparison of the remaster with the original game running on a PS4 Pro. At the risk of repeating myself, it’s a significant upgrade- take a look below.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will feature a Performance Mode to play the game at 60 FPS, ray-tracing, updated environments, other visual upgrades, higher fidelity for characters and animations, new Trophies, new suits, and new features in the Photo Mode. The remaster is also introducing a new look for Peter Parker with a new facial model. It’s been the recipient of some backlash, which creative director Bryan Intihar recently addressed.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will release exclusively for PS5 on November 12. It will only be available as a download code in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. A standalone release is not currently planned.
