Executive Producer for the Mass Effect series Casey Hudson recently tweeted about the next game in the series, tentatively titled Mass Effect 4, and talked about the team at Bioware taking its “first steps” and “looking around” in the new world.

Hudson also congratulated his team for their milestone review and how everything looked “beautiful, fun, ambitious and Mass Effect-y”.

The last game in the series Mass Effect 3 released last year and raised a fair amount of controversy due to its ending. However, the game continued performing strongly with lots of multiplayer and single-player DLC. It has since been revealed that Mass Effect 4 will be developed using DICE’s Frostbite 3 Engine. The team at Bioware also talked about developing games in the franchise based on different characters.

What would you like to see in Mass Effect 4 (aside from the return of Commander Shepard of course)? Let us know in the comments below.
