Linear Worlds
Aesthetically, the Mass Effect series gave us some beautiful, interesting worlds. However, it wasn’t much fun exploring those worlds in the long run. Why? Linear paths that really only lead from point A to point B with little else in between really threw off great potential for exploration. Andromeda must have worlds designed around exploration. Or at least pseudo exploration. A form of discovery in which we feel as though our time isn’t wasted on just traveling from cut scene to cut scene.
