Bioware’s Mass Effect: Andromeda is less than two weeks ago (or six days if you caved in and got EA/Origin Access). We already know that it will have a Day One patch like many triple-A games at launch but how big will it be?
According to a tweet that a player sent to lead designer Ian S. Frazier on Twitter, the size of the patch could be roughly 2 GB. On asking if this was the Day One patch for early access players, Frazier said, “Sounds like it.”
Bioware has been hyping the hell out of Mass Effect: Andromeda since confirming its release date in January. We’ve seen footage of the game’s beginning, the planets that can be visited, weapons, how the abilities, loadouts and favourites work and much more.
At PAX East this weekend, attendees will get a chance to try out the multiplayer for the first time though it remains to be seen how much its advanced since the last closed alpha test.
Mass Effect: Andromeda arrives on March 21st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
