Mass Effect Andromeda Exploration Video Showcases Numerous Locales

A cluster of systems awaits you.

In the latest gameplay video for Mass Effect: Andromeda, Bioware has showcased the game’s exploration aspect which it claims to be at the “heart” of the experience. Check it out below for yourself.

Within the Helios Cluster is a number of star systems and planets, some which can actually be touched down upon by players. The planet showcased in the trailer is one that has Krogans and excessive heat.

The Pathfinder has to deal with the heat, replenishing life support on his person while also supporting the Nomad, and explore the planet to increase its viability rating. A decent viability rating will then allow players to deploy an outpost, leveling up their core space station and gathering benefits as a result.

That’s not all though. Along with a large environment to explore with many different areas, players can also discover vaults with their own challenges and secrets. The vault teased here actually reminds us of the footage that debuted at the PlayStation Meeting last year.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is out on March 21st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Thoughts on the exploration? Let us know below.
