Mass Effect: Andromeda isn’t going through the regular hype cycle a big budget EA title usually does. There’s been information released for it by this point, yes, but in trickles, and some would still say it hasn’t been enough.
BioWare’s Ian Frazier, though, recently took to Twitter to answer some fans’ questions and managed to clear some of the confusion regarding the multiplayer, dialogue wheel and more. When asked why the krogan vanguard shown in the recent multiplayer footage had shields rather than a barrier as has always been the case in Mass Effect titles, he said that with Andromeda BioWare have created “new rules”, and that they’ve made lots of similar choices in their multiplayer kits.
He also confirmed that there will be an option in-game to turn off the icons in the dialogue wheel to make it look more like what we’re used to seeing in Mass Effect, while also confirming that if you change the look of Scott or Sarah Ryder (whoever you choose to play as, that is), the other twin will initially automatically look a bit like you, but can be customised later as well.
In another tweet, when asked if players will be restricted to three abilities as several fans have speculated, judging from the footage shown so far, Frazier said that in the single player, there will be a way to access more than three abilities, before saying that more information on how it will work in the multiplayer will be released soon.
So there, that’s plenty of good new information for Mass Effect: Andromeda. The game launches March 23 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Stay tuned for more updates- we have some good Mass Effect content coming up for you!

Initially your twin will look a bit like you (automatically) but then you can customize them to look however you like.
