Mass Effect Andromeda Launch Trailer is Grim But Gorgeous

Find a new home or die trying.

Bioware has released the launch trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda and unless we’re reading between the lines too much, it seems things are fairly serious. The so-called “golden worlds” explained in a previous Andromeda Initiative video haven’t seemed to pan out and now all hope rests on the Pathfinder. Check it out for yourself.

Taking place some 600 years after the original trilogy, Mass Effect: Andromeda sees a small contingent of humanity heading to the Helios Cluster to settle down. It’s your job as Pathfinder to scout out potential worlds and make them habitable. That’s easier said than done given all the enemies out there, including the monstrous Kett who feature heavily in the launch trailer.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will release on March 21st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC but if you have EA/Origin Access, you can try out a limited trial on March 16th for 10 hours. What are your thoughts on the launch trailer? Let us know in the comments below.
