Well, if Maxis isn’t going out of its way to apologize, we don’t know what this is. They’ve just announced a new redemption offer for those who’ve been having server troubles with the latest SimCity for those who’ve registered their copy before March 26th 2013 at 06:59 AM GMT.
That redemption offer lets you download a free game of your choice from EA’s Origin online platform. What are the games on offer? Oh, no biggies. Just Battlefield 3, Bejeweled 3, Dead Space 3, Mass Effect 3, Medal of Honor Warfighter, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Plants vs. Zombies and SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition.
Apology accepted? Hell yeah. The redemption portal will go live on March 22nd and will open up one country at a time so you may see it sooner than others. Make sure to claim your free game by March 31st 2013 at 06.59 GMT. For more information on redeeming the offer, check out the official FAQ.
