Final Fantasy Type-0 HD

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has topped the Media Create charts in Japan for the week of March 16th to 22nd, selling 92,094 units in its first three days on sale for the PS4. This is most likely due to the demo for Final Fantasy 15 that was included.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 also had a strong debut on the PS3 with 73,373 units sold and on the PS4 with 42,358 units. Battlefield: Hardline followed it with 68,823 units sold on the PS4 while the PS3 versions sold 28,976 units. Sega’s Yakuza 0, which had a strong debut two weeks ago fell to sixth place this week with 29,568 units with lifetime sales at 175,390 units. It should be noted that Yakuza 0 sold 15,255 units on the PS4 with lifetime sales at 105,761 units.

Another top title was Mario Party 10 for the Wii U which is at ninth place with 21,433 units sold and lifetime sales at 71,645. What are your thoughts on this week’s Media Create results? Let us know in the comments.
