3rd Robot Wars Z Jigoku-Hen

The latest Media Create sales charts for April 7-13 are more available and the PlayStation platform has managed some new to selling titles. They’re not what you’d think though.

Namco Bandai’s 3rd Robot Wars Z: Jigoku-Hen debuted on top this week for the PlayStation 3 selling 142,433 units displacing Mario Party: Island Tour on the 3DS, which sold 28,114 units this week and averaged 285,987 lifetime sales. The Vita version of 3rd Robot Wars Z debuted in second with 128,236 units sold with Yokai Watch selling 33,833 units at third place (with 720,220 lifetime sales).

EA’s Titanfall also debuted in Japan in the previous week, selling 10,478 units on the Xbox 360. When you consider the absolutely dismal performance and presence of the console, it’s amazing that Titanfall actually managed to enter into Media Create’s top ten best selling games list for the week.
