Medievil PS4 Was Fake, Fanmade in Unreal Engine 4

It was a fake after all.

Recently, we reported on what appeared to be a leak for a PlayStation 4 return of beloved PlayStation action adventure series Medievil. The leak seemed to be fairly convincing, what with all the assets and videos that were associated with it. It was also entirely fake.

As it turns out, it was made by a fan in Unreal Engine 4- Guillermo Moreno made it on a whim, and he confirmed on Twitter that it was just done for fun. This means that if there was anyone out there who was hoping that this would be the precursor to the return of the franchise, well, it’s not. There is no Medievil PS4, and we are not going to see anything to that effect at E3 this year.

While that is obviously sure to be devastating news to a lot of series fans, who had their hopes raised by the video, the question remains- is a return of Medievil something you want to see? Let us know in the comments below.
