Konami’s Metal Gear Online will be receiving its “Cloaked in Silence” expansion, which adds a new special character with Quiet, on March 15th. The expansion also brings support for “appeal” emotes and three new maps. A new mode Sabotage is being added for free when the expansion releases.

Another new mode called Survival will be heading to Metal Gear Online on April 7th. The mode is intriguing and odd – player teams must compete for win streaks but they only get ten tries a week with the challenge resetting every Tuesday. If you purchase the Cloaked in Silence expansion though, you’ll receive unlimited tries. It sounds odd and kind of shady but hey, it’s a way to sell downloads for the expansion.
