The demo for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, developed by Platinum Games in association with Kojima Productions, is now available for Xbox 360 via Xbox Live and PS3 via Playstation Network.

There was quite the commotion when Konami UK announced via Twitter that only the Xbox Live Gold version of the demo had been released, and that PSN and normal XBL subscribers would receive it the next day.

But now both the XBL and PSN version of the demo have been released, which means the whole world is now free to cut what they will, as they will. You know, except for PC gamers.

The demo will cover a portion of the second level, and be the same demo that shipped with Zone of the Enders HD Collection not too long ago. For those who didn’t bother to pick up ZOE, this demo release will offer their first true taste of Revengeance before it releases on February 19th for North America.
