Missed the involving and action-packed demo of Platinum Games’ upcoming slash-a-thon Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance when it was packaged with Zone of the Enders HD Collection (that is your cue to get out now)? Then you’re in luck, because the same demo will be releasing for PSN and Xbox Live next week on January 22nd.

Currently the demo by itself has only been available in Japan. With this worldwide release, players will have a chance to experience part of the second level, which features everyone’s favourite robot wolf-dog cyborg thing as a boss.

He’s quite adorable when he’s not trying to maim you with his chainsaw tail. Really.

Currently, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is scheduled for release on February 19th in North America and on the 22nd in Europe for PS3 and Xbox 360. There’s currently no word on the PC version of the game as of yet, but we’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
