Metal Gear Rising to Feature New Demo and Trailer for TGS

Posted By | On 20th, Aug. 2012

Leave it to Kojima Productions to not rest easy on it’s laurels when Metal Gear is being talked about. After impressing at E3 and now this time at GamesCom, the company’s announced that they’re going to be creating a new demo and trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

Producer Yuji Korekado stated on Twitter that he’ll be heading back to the development scene this week following his promotions for the game in Germany. How good was the reception for Rising at GamesCom? Apparently attendees waited for 4 hours to get their hands on the title on the event’s final day.

The controls were particularly praised, but coming from the team that made Bayonetta and Vanquish a blast to play, this is a given.

Tokyo Game Show takes place between September 20th to 23rd. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released for Playstation 3 and XBox 360 in February 2013.
