And well deserved it is!

Everyone’s favourite lunatic, Hideo Kojima has received some truly deserved accolades in his time and is often said to be one the best, if not the best video game creator of our time. This is of course in reference to his astounding Metal Gear series that has tugged at the heart strings of many gamers across multiple generations.

Well, at the 32nd Annual Golden Joystick Awards that was hosted in London, Hideo Kojima received a very much deserved award of significant important.

The lifetime Achievement award no less! Unfortunately he was actually to busy working on his upcoming title, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to accept the award in person, so he instead sent an acceptance video which, as you would expect, starts of in typical MGS fashion. I must admit that it’s really nice to see how pleased he is with the award and more importantly, how humble he remains.

Rock on Kojima!
