The live stream of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has just ended and we have a 22 minute long gameplay footage showcasing the several stealth mechanics, advanced AI and last but not the least mother base infiltration. Please note that the original direct feed video did not had mother base infiltration so we had to embed an off screen footage showcasing the multiplayer component of The Phantom Pain.
The single player demonstration takes place in the same setting as the E3 2014 one. However a different approach was taken this time around. Instead of taking a longer route, the player took a more shorter route and infiltrated the camp during night time. The video also gave us our first look at the advanced AI, stealth mechanics and aggressive yet thoughtful strategies to take down helicopters.
After your mission ends, you find yourself infiltrating someone else’s mother base. The player is able to take down enemies and fulton a lot of stuff from the base. But later on you are stopped by the owner of the mother base [The Big Boss of that base]. All in all the entire demo was intriguing.
