Successor To Peace Walker:

Having played the PSP Metal Gear Solid game called Peace Walker eons ago, one thing is for certain, whatever details we have known from this game hints at only one thing — It’s a sequel to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The characters were talking about Chico and Paz, Mother Base, and they overheard Tomokazu Sugita who was Miller in the Japanese version of the game. This is a big indicator that they are trying to build upon Peace Walker and make a great multiplatform successor with all bells and whistles.

Deus Ex style gameplay:

The gameplay will be akin to the one we saw in the critically acclaimed Deus Ex Human Revolution. Here’s what the gameplay will be like according to Gamespot, “We should also mention that the demo gave out a sandbox open-world vibe; the military base itself felt expansive and huge, and Snake can summon a helicopter to bring him around as well as drive a jeep to go from point A to B. Kojima did state that he wishes to add a new spin to the stealth genre; even when you’re discovered, you can use all the means and tools to escape rather than see a “game over” screen.”

Modern Weapons:

The game will feature a lot of futuristic weapons if the artwork is an indicator we will be able to use weapons like FAL and so on. MGS4 had a ton of weapons too and all of them were highly detailed with the ability to fire in first-person mode. If the gameplay is a natural evolution over MGS4 and Peace Walker, then we could see a completely refined shooting mechanics with some explosive firepower at your disposal.

Sound design:

Metal Gear Solid 4 had a lot of things going for it, one of them was the sound design. The demo for Ground Zeroes had some fantastic dialogue and sound effects according to the people who watched it, and it looks like just like MGS 4, we will be able to experience some fantastic sound design, provided you have the appropriate hardware of course.

We are hoping more information is released on the game at PAX, along with a gameplay trailer. So far based on just a demo that no one has seen, we can speculate so much.

Such is the power of the Metal Gear brand.
