After announcing Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 last month, Konami has confirmed the compilation’s release on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It’s available on October 24th, and pre-orders are currently live. Check out the newest trailer below.
Along with Metal Gear Solid (with its Special Missions), it includes the HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake are also featured. Additional bonuses include the first Metal Gear Solid digital novel and its sequel.
Screenplay books and master books with information on the story and characters, with strategy guides for each title, are also included. Best of all, each Metal Gear Solid title will be available separately on the eShop. Expect other storefronts to follow suit. Konami could also re-release other Metal Gear Solid titles, perhaps as part of Vol. 2, so stay tuned.
